Tackle World Bundaberg is a local fishing store with a long association with the Bundaberg and Wide Bay Region. They have a vast array of local fishing expertise and were seeking a website to strengthen their ability to convey this knowledge to their customers.

The Tackle World Bundberg online presence

The Tackle World Bundaberg online presence is built around three core sites

www.tackleworldbundy.com.au: The primary website with video and map integration. This site is used to engage their customers with weekly fishing reports; local fishing photos; details of upoming fishing competitions, including the ability to register online; and tips on how to get the best results, including video content.

shop.tackleworldbundy.com.au: An online store with paypal and Commonwealth Bank's CommWeb integration.

maps.tackleworldbundy.com.au: Interactive online fishing maps powered by Google Maps. These maps will be used to convey their wealth of local fishing knowledge to ensure their customers 'hook up with a local'.

Custom Drupal Installation

All three websites are powered by the Drupal content mangement system. This means nearly every facet of the site can be maintained by the staff of Tackle World.

A custom installation of the cck_map module powers the maps site with enhanced marker support to enable Tackle World to add images to the markers.

The email lists on the main website are also powered by a custom built module while the shop site is largely powered by the Ubercart shopping cart.
